This FM type engine powered winch is a new type of straight shaft fast speed gasoline winch developed by our company in recent years. It can reach a maximum speed of 24 m/min(the normal type is usually max 10-14m/min) and is available in two models: 5-ton and 8-ton of gasoline powered and diesel powered. Featuring a wide range of wire speeds, multiple gears, fast speed, wide applicability, compact structure, small size, light weight, safety and reliability, and high work efficiency. The FM type engine powered winch is equipped with the following power sources:
1. Domestic 188F (13Hp) and 182F (11Hp) gasoline engines
2. Joint venture Honda GX390 and YAMAHA gasoline engines
3. Domestic (4.8KW) diesel engine.
4. Color of winch body can be customized.

The engine powered winch machine consists of a drum, gearbox, diesel engine or gasoline engine, and a base frame. The working principle of the winch machine is that the drum groove is a pulling groove directly connected to the steel wire rope, powered by the gasoline engine or diesel engine or electric motor, and achieved the required working speed through the gearbox. Operation manuals of this engine powered winch:
- Before starting the machine, please open the transmission clutch of the engine powered winch and shift the front and rear shift levers to neutral before starting it up.
- When shifting the clutch, the action should be quick and decisive, otherwise the interlocking brake will not work, resulting in an increase in the impact force of the automatic brake pawl. It is advisable not to apply too much force when starting up, until the machine’s transmission wheel can drive the input shaft to rotate without slipping.
- When shifting gears, the clutch must be opened, otherwise it may damage the gears. After shifting gears, it is necessary to check whether the shifting process is firmly engaged to prevent gear jumping and disorderly shifting.
- During the gear shifting process, if there is difficulty in shifting gears, a hand cranked device can be used to assist in shifting gears. The specific way is to use a wrench to turn the hand cranked device and rotate it by one angle to shift gears.
- The lubrication of the engine powered winch relies on oil splashing in the gearbox, and the distance from the oil surface to the bottom of the box is 6-8 cm, which should not be too much. The new machine has already been lubricated before EXW the factory. After using the new machine for a period of time, the lubricating oil should be replaced. In the future maintenance, the lubricating oil can be added a little or replaced according to the exact application situation.
